**RESPONSIBILITIES:**


We are seeking a motivated, dynamic, and self-starting Operations Manager to provide leadership and management to our HVAC Commercial Service field organization based out of Washington, D.C. Our candidate will coordinate the team's resources to efficiently execute repair, overhaul and installation projects that delight our customers and meet revenue and margin targets. The Operations Manager should have a strong understanding of the commercial air conditioning business flow and execution, including but not limited to relationship management, talent development, field operations, EH&S, project profitability, and customer satisfaction. The role will also be responsible for the financial performance of the service and installation business, including project planning, revenue and margin forecasting, A/R collections, contract management and re-estimating costs of installation projects within the team's portfolio.

**Qualification:**


+ Ability to lead and motivate teams

+ Prior experience in prioritizing and managing multiple projects at the same time

+ 5 years of experience in Commercial Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning industry preferred

+ Excellent financial acumen, sales and business development skills are critical

+ Must communicate professionally and effectively; strong written and verbal communication skills

+ Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite

+ Proficient in the use of performance metrics

+ Strong problem solving, planning and project management skills

+ Strategic planning and execution

+ Knowledge of building automation and construction projects

+ General knowledge of employment laws and practices

+ Demonstrated knowledge of financial reporting

+ Knowledge of safety laws


**Education:**


+ Bachelor's degree with 6-10 years relevant experience

+ Master's degree with 4-7 years relevant experience

+ 6 Sigma or related continuous quality improvement training and experience
